Life from Love Himself.

Psalm 139:13-18

“13 For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.

17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with You.

What do you see in this image above? You see an outline of a HUMAN fetus, surrounded by what is obviously tons and tons of blooms- flowers and vines and fruit. All of it is completely beautiful, and it depicts the exact image of what the little thing in the center ACTUALLY is/contains: A LIFE.. A BEAUTIFUL, LOVED AND PURSUED LIFE.

Recently, I had the opportunity to watch the movie “Unplanned” with some friends, and I can honestly say that this -completely true- story has impacted the way I think regarding the matter. I have always been pro-life, there is simply no excuse for the opposite. I have always been understanding of those who maybe don’t understand that there are no excuses for the opposite- some people just aren’t aware, and I completely understand this. Why? Because we as people, as humans ourselves, are BLINDED by evil. We need the love and grace and light of JESUS to open the eyes of our hearts (and literal eyes) to what is truly happening here and what is REALLY, ACTUALLY, occurring. Not just in abortion, but for literally everything. We NEED to turn to JESUS. We just HAVE to. I have always been slow to judge when it comes to people who may not understand what I understand, or maybe even hearing stories of women/families who have partaken in abortions.

But the way this story impacted my thinking, was much more than making me think in my mind- God opened something new up in my heart as I watched (and didn’t watch) it. As I was describing to my mom the way this movie/story made me feel, I came to somewhat of a conclusion of this-

That I felt a TRUE sadness, a TRUE, GENUINE, DEEP sorrow. But not the kind of sadness or sorrow that was angry at the humans, the souls, involved, but the kind of sorrow that, out of it flowed the genuine DESIRE to LOVE and HELP.

And I honestly believe that this is a type of pure sorrow. God showed me this feeling, and it opened the eyes of my heart towards this matter in a way that I hadn’t yet felt before. And it was- and is- a beautiful knowledge and feeling to have.

The way God works with HIS timing is amazing. With all of the events surrounding abortion and these laws in our nation and world today, this movie came out. But God. Wow, God. The world is beginning to recognize the horror, the atrocity of this act on humans. As Missy Robertson puts in her instagram caption regarding the movie-

“The MPAA has given this an “R” rating. If it is because it shows a re-enactment of a baby being killed and the end result of body parts, blood and tissue, how much more horrific is this in real life, real time, to real babies? Inadvertently, the world has just validated through this “R” rating that this act is utterly terrifying, extremely violent and emotionally disturbing. We already know this.”

She proceeds in her caption to say that, though this is evil… if there is evil, there must be good. And GOOD has a name.. JESUS CHRIST. Y’all. We will not get anywhere with judging. We will not get anywhere with arguing. We will not get ANYWHERE through or with shaming, outwardly or even in your own thoughts/heart. But God. BUT GOD.

Based on statistics, reporting of former clinic workers and as stated in the film/story itself, “when someone prays in front of an abortion facility, the “no-show” rate for abortion appointments can go to as high as 75 percent!”

Y’all. That’s ALL God. ALL eternal glory to Him. When we PRAY. Not when we shame. Not when we pick up and try to throw stones. Not when we guilt them. Not when we judge, whether in our hearts and thoughts or even outwardly. When we pray. Talk to Jesus. Jesus is the way the truth and the LIFE (John 8:36). That’s why we need to stop.

Stop judging.

Stop hating.

Stop viewing differently.

Instead, turn THEM to JESUS- our LIVING HOPE. The ONE Who sets free. The ONE Who forgives. Show them there is a way: and that HE IS THE WAY! Not just for abortions- but in EVERYDAY life- in EVERY moment.

But to do this, to turn them to Jesus, we must turn to Him as well. Look away from the world, and look to Jesus. Ask Him to open the eyes of your heart to what the world, culture and the enemy himself wants us to be blind to- evil.

John 8:31-32

The Truth Will Make You Free

“31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

What is a caterpillar in a cocoon? A butterfly 🙂

ALSO: please check out Matthew West’s new song “Unplanned” that plays in the film credits and now on the radio! So full of truth and GOODNESS, and PURITY!

If you or someone you know is considering watching this film, or anything similar, please keep these things in mind (I am not saying these things to keep you from watching the movie, and I completely understand that all of you can easily find these things on the internet, I just want everyone to be aware, if this is the only time you are seeing it!):

It is a TRUE story- every event portrayed is as told by the woman (Abby) herself, in her book “Unplanned”.

There are GRAPHIC scenes- and not the scenes that are in your typical film today- graphic meaning this film is rated R for a reason- murder of innocent human souls. There are SEVERAL (3 or 4) scenes similar to this in the film, a few of which I literally had to hold my head down, I couldn’t watch (lots of blood- please keep this in mind!)

It is very, very emotional. Both joy and sadness!

As I told a friend afterwards how I felt about the movie- I didn’t need to see this. And I mean this in a way that, although, yes, I learned new information regarding the matter, I didn’t need to see this to know how awful this act is. What it TRULY is. But God. There is always Hope. He is our LIVING Hope. Shine a light. He is the Eternal, everlasting Light within us forever! Thank you, Jesus!

On the other hand, while this film is indeed rated R for a reason, it is definitely one to consider IF you or someone you know is on the fence about what they believe about this matter. I have heard of SEVERAL instances of people’s hearts and minds being changed after watching this film, including stories of clinic workers leaving their jobs.

I genuinely felt the LORD leading me to write this post and to share, and I am so super duper glad that I am, for Him and His glory. Not mine, ever (praise hands and crying emoji!!!) 🙂

To add to this, I will share something that is shared at the end of the film:

We are Called to be Grown-Up Children.

Matthew 18:1-3

“1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 And He called a child to Himself and set him before them, 3 and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

Last week, as I was completing my observation hours for one of my classes, I noticed something, and realized something very interesting—- and important. I was in a second-grade classroom for an entire week, so I got to experience just about anything and everything that you can imagine. But the one thing that God specifically pointed out to me, made me realize, is the eternal truth that we are called to be God’s CHILDREN, no matter how grown up in the faith that we are, and no matter our earthly age. No matter how old we are, no matter how long we’ve been a believer, no matter how long we’ve been following Jesus. As we continue to believe, follow and grow up/mature in Jesus, we don’t climb some special, supernatural ladder that leads us to His position, or surpasses anyone else on that said, non-existing, ladder. From the beginning to the end, we were called, we ARE called, by God, from God, for God, and through God, to be HIS children. Humbling ourselves before HIM as our Father. We are His children, NOT His “sidekicks“.

There are a few things that the good Father, the All-mighty LORD and GOOD GOOD GREATTTT SAVIOR pointed out to me about these children, as this example, inside and outside of the classroom, and I am going to share a few 🙂 ….

Children are BOLD and NOT afraid.

I noticed and realized how bold children are, how they do not care to notice what others around them may think. They are BOLD to be who they are- they don’t sit down to think about what another soul may think of them. They act and speak freely, not worried about what comes next or what has just occurred. They are BOLD to love and show love- children do all sorts of things in LOVE for one another, only because of what they have been TAUGHT and NATURALLY KNOW! They are bold to go out of their way for someone who needs help. They are bold to step out and help someone in need, even if someone else does not see it. I watched a second grade boy put a girl‘s chair down for her, so that she wouldn’t have to. When one person’s pencil case fell and everything scattered, I watched AN ENTIRE SIDE OF A CLASSROOM rush to help the student pick up their things. This was so sweet and is so beyond amazing to me. Children are NOT AFRAID to show love towards anyone. They notice a need and address it, no questions asked. They get it, even when we don’t think they do. What we don’t “get” is that they don’t “get” that there is some “boundary” holding us back- call it what you will, pride, laziness, “someone else will/can do it”-ness. They don’t “get” that. And that is amazing. We need to un “get” that.

Children are so OPEN AND HONEST. They are confident in who they are because of WHO’S they are- children are NOT afraid to come up to (basically) a stranger and show their artwork, which they are so proud of, not critiquing but PROUD of. Several times, the students would come up to me and show me what they drew/colored, with big smiles on their faces. One day after lunch, a little boy started a conversation with me. Another little girl chimed in, complimenting my necklace (which is a cross by the way, WOOHOO HAPPY DANCE!!). One morning even started off by me getting to know them a little better, by some telling me what sports they play!!

Children recognize, respect, and obey/respond to the voice of AUTHORITY.

When I was hosting a spelling test (big step for me, I was SUPER DUPER excited when asked to do so!), I was AMAZED at the students’ response as soon as I said “Number three.”, indicating the move onto the next sentence. IMMEDIATELY, and I mean IMMEDIATELY, every child’s head looked down to their paper, PREPARED to write. No questions. Just WAITING for me to give instructions, to tell them what to write.

Do you remember those clapping attention-grabbers from school? Whatever the teacher does, the students do. I saw this so much while observing. No matter how many claps, the students would do exactly that- and it was all eyes on the teacher.

They knew how to behave- they knew naturally and they had been taught.

They will LISTEN to authority- intently. If you tell a child to do something and HOW to do it, more often than not, you have their full attention– all eyes on you. Children DESIRE to learn. They want to know what, how, why, who, where and so on. They WILL follow your lead.

Children know what to do- because they’ve been taught.

Each morning, as I sat in my chair in the corner of the classroom, I watched these sweet students walk into the classroom little by little (no pun intended #tinybutmighty), put their backpacks away, and go right to their assigned desks, take their chairs off of the desk, and begin their morning work. This was obviously routine. This has been oh so successfully engrained into these children’s minds, so much so that it seems to come natural. They know what the teacher expects them to do, and they follow through with it, even when they have questions.

Children know who to run to when things get messy.

Countless times I watched students run up to the teachers around them when something went not as planned, or when there was an issue. They knew that the teacher was there, that only the teacher could help, and that the teacher would take care of them and the situation. They trust them.

Children aren’t afraid to get uncomfortable and messy/dirty.

On my walk/run recently, I looked ahead of me at some dirt/mud mixture in the grass. I thought about how it would be if I just decided to get all up in it, roll around in it, just having fun (I didn’t, in case you were wondering!). I was then reminded of the way of children. When you were a kid, you didn’t think about the consequences of rolling around in mud, you didn’t care that you would get dirty, you just knew it would be fun (unless you weren’t into that sort of thing). I thought about how freeing this is, that children don’t seem to think about how unpopular and weird it would be in society for some grown-ups to roll around in some mud, get a little dirty, uncomfortable, vulnerable. But for children, it’s a really cute (and messy!) photo-op.

Several years ago, a thought came to my mind that I still remember to this day. The thought goes something like this-

I find it so interesting that when we were children, we had those matching pajama sets for bedtime, ones with characters or patterns or whatever, some with footies, etc., our outfits all “put together” for bed, with a whole routine to go along with it, and to play outside we would have the most mismatched outfits (just ask us for some throwback photos, I’m sure we can find some good ones for ya). When we grew up, everything changed (literally- okay, pun intended there!). It’s now switched– we could care less about what we wear to sleep in. We care more about how we look when we step outside- the routine is crazy. We try to make sure we look good in front of everyone, and behind closed doors we don’t seem to mind what we look like.

What I have come to realize and learn from all of this– is that I am a child of THE KING. I knew this, for sure, but because of Him and Him showing me this, I have a whole new perspective on it with a whole new appreciation to go along with it. We need to be grown-up children.

In the Bible, it is mentioned several times in the gospels when Jesus tells the people to be like children. He does not mean that we should act foolishly, be immature or not grow up in our ways. Jesus is saying that we still need HIM. Always. Forever. Eternally.

We were called by Him to be His children. He is our Good, Good, GRRRREAT Heavenly Father. He has adopted us into His family, to be HIS, and to walk with Him, following Him in everything, in every moment, no matter our age. He wants us to know and understand that no matter how wise we may think we are becoming, we still need Him. No matter how long we have known Him, we still need Him. No matter how long we have been walking with Him, and following Him, we still need Him. -We are not called to be God, or to be in HIS position; we are CALLED by HIM to follow Him, His ways, in awe and reverence- which He deserves from us and beyond what we can give-

So how does this look, to simply be God’s child?

Can you imagine if we were like children, if we were to be how they are in everyday life, as we follow Christ? Things would be so much different; they would be changed, and we would too. Our perspective would change, our ways of thinking would change, and our actions would be change, all for the better.

Can you imagine if we were as bold as children? The kind of boldness that is not rooted in pride, in a puffed up chest or in boasting. The kind of boldness that is willing to follow The Father, His ways, and step out without taking a single glance at what else is happening around us. Not thinking about the past or the future, but being completely confident in who we are, in WHOSE we are, WILLING to take a step, no matter what others around us may think, do or say. Children are not afraid to do the right thing, even if when it is not the most popular.

Can you imagine if we were as open and honest as the children? If we didn’t think about others’ thoughts or the world’s opinions, and instead we confidently ran to the Father, and to others around us, with every little thing we do, with everything that we are feeling. Excitement, instead of fear. Confidence in what is laid out on the paper, instead of critiquing a mark on the page that may be out of line or out of place. PROUD of the work that was accomplished, big or small, instead of seeking approval from the world.

Can you imagine if we ran to the Father in the same way that children run to anyone in a room, just to tell them about themselves, what is going on or an event that has taken place in their lives? Children are not afraid to come up to you in complete excitement and tell you about what sports they enjoy, or something little about their day. They will come up to you and tell you about something that maybe didn’t even go their way. What if we -immediately- ran to The Father like this? Yes, He does already know everything, even every little thing about us, but He WANTS us to come to Him. He desires for us to be so overjoyed to come to Him about our days, what we’re feeling, good or bad, no matter how big and no matter how small. He wants a relationship, not a religion.

Can you imagine if we, as children, responded to The Lord, our Heavenly Father, as quickly as these children do on a spelling test? What if we took HIM seriously, knowing that He is THE Almighty God, and our loving Father, Who desires to help us and hold us up by His right hand. To know Him, be in complete awe of Him, and be His humble servant, ready and eager and WILLING to serve Him, to move when He says move. To walk when He says walk. To wait what He says wait. To speak when He says to speak. And to trust in HIM, always, and through it all! Not questioning out loud, or even in our hearts, what could go wrong or what could go right, not thinking about the “what-ifs”, just obeying, in complete reverence to Him. What if we were so focused on Him, on Jesus, that our minds and ears couldn’t even hear the things of this world? What if they fell off of us like a sticker that didn’t stick?

Can you imagine if we ran to the Father for our needs and desires? Even when things get messy, when there is an issue that needs to be addressed, whether inside of us or outside, can you imagine if we had the desire and willingness to run to HIM for comfort, instead of the things of this world? If we didn’t run to the distractions in our lives, but to Peace and Love and Life and Light Himself? Children admit to needing help. They unashamedly ask of it, because they know that they cannot do something on their own and that you will and can help them. They don’t try to hide it-they may try to do it on their own, but they will most certainly realize their need for help. The same is with our Heavenly Father, the Prince of Peace.

Can you imagine if we didn’t see uncomfortable and messy as a bad thing? If we didn’t fear it, but feared GOD instead? Can you imagine if instead of worrying about getting dirty and uncomfortable, and how unpopular it is when the world looks at you doing something like that, if we were like children and saw the good in getting a little dirty and uncomfortable– if we got out of these earthly/worldly comfort zones and into the confident comfort zone of The King, which has NO bounds! What if we stepped out, spoke to that person, that soul. What if we stepped out, jumped into that “part of town”. What if we stepped out and spoke LIFE into that person, no matter how awkward or uncomfortable it may seem. The truth is the truth and the TRUTH will set you free! (John 8:32)

Can you imagine? It is completely possible with His help. And only HIS help. No one and nothing else satisfies the need we have for our Heavenly Father. This desire in our hearts can only be satisfied by Him, God. JESUS: YAHWEH SAVES!

The idea and truth that we need to be grown up children does not mean that we need to be taking a bottle in the faith everyday of our lives since salvation and following Jesus. Jesus makes it clear in His Word that we will become mature, and yet by His grace.. by His grace, we see that He lovingly, calls us by name. He calls us His children. We have been adopted by God because He wanted us. He knows that we are weak, but He is strong. We-everyone- have one desire- only to be fulfilled by Jesus, because He is the only One Who satisfies, eternally!

We will grow up and mature by His grace, but God wants us to know Him by Who He is– our Father. He wants us to know that He IS good, that He IS our Shepherd, and that He WILL take (great) care of us, beyond our wildest imagination. He wants us to know that He has adopted us to be HIS. He wants us to know that we are sitting at His feet, for a child’s perspective is ALWAYS one that is looking up to the Father. He wants us to know that we are His, we belong to Him, and He is our HOME. Children get curious. Childhood is a time of experimenting and learning, and Jesus wants us to know that He is always the CONSTANT One here for us, here WITH us, to run to, and to cry to, and to seek eternally.

As I was researching some verses from Scripture about child-like faith, I came across this description of who/what children are- “Humble and teachable.” We will NEVER grow out of being His child. We will NEVER grow out of needing HIS loving-kindness filled grace, and HIS eternal GUIDANCE.

We grow up, and we do away with childish things, but this isn’t about us. This is about The Father. The fact that He desires for us to KNOW— to KNOW that He is still The Father and we are HIS children is beyond amazing and beyond our comprehension.

I will end this post with something else God showed me. The other night, I was playing on a Bible color-by-number app on my phone (so fun, I know!) and I realized something. There was a picture before me, with different sections to color. There was a laid out set of directions, each with a number and the color coordinating with it. Y’all. This may seem so random- but it was so profound to me in thinking about what i have been learning about being a child recently. This coloring process was straightforward and guided by the steps already created, already taken for me. All I had to do was obey, and be willing to take it step-by-step. I didn’t know how long it would take, and I didn’t ask questions. I simply followed the path laid out before me, seeing this picture come together, piece by piece. In the end, when it was all completed, a beautiful picture was before me.

What if we trusted God enough to follow Him step-by-step, no questions asked? He has given us a straightforward path, have unashamed obedience; just follow Him.

We will always need His guidance and grace. Simply be this- God’s child. Press into Him. He is here with you!!

James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.”

When’s it MY turn?

He formed the waters…

Genesis 1:9 “Then God said, “Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.

We see them, we know them, we wait with them… STOPLIGHTS.

Every day, or, well, at least most days(Who am I to know your driving schedule/times?), we encounter them. We know the drill, and thank God that we do, truly-

pause. just had a moment. We say “Thank God!” quite often, along with “Praise God!”- mean it when I say it- key point.

because if we did NOT know the drill, there would be MULTIPLE and I mean, MULTIPLE car crashes, fatalities, etc., etc., etc. But, because we have these handy dandy notebooks, I mean, !stoplights!, we are able to orderly make our own ways across the street without harm, safe and sound. But only when the stoplight is GREEN!

God has been just showing me lots recently how He is in EVERYTHING and has created everyone and everything and uses everyone and everything, even man-made incredible, creativeness inventions(such as our said stoplights), for our good but HIS glory. HIS glory, NOT MINE!!

I can’t remember the exact stoplight and I can’t remember if what I know He showed/taught me in that moment was what I was seeing right in front of me, but when HE has already willed and planned to teach you something, HE WILL teach you that something, WHEN HE has planned to do it, WHERE HE has already planned to do it and THROUGH whom or what HE has already planned to do it.

I was sitting at a stoplight, and God stopped me in my tracks(Ha, see what I did there, or, what HE did there…. anyway.. 🙂  ).

You know how most if not all stoplights these days are camera/motion censored? Like how if the light is red but you pull up to it and the other crossway gets turned red so that you can have the green, the “right-of-way”, I guess you could say, all because it detected you pulling up. And then, when green, that’s your -SAFE- “Go”. Typically, you don’t even pay attention to cars in the other lanes as you put your foot on the gas, whether beside or at the other crossway alongside you, because you KNOW that it is your turn, your lane, and your “right-of-way”

A lot of the time we think it is our right-of-way, when it most definitely IS NOT.

Something God taught me, showing me how cool He is, and how HE works(not me, again, heyyy), is that HE SEES US. HE SEES ME, YOU, US, WE, THEY, IT, I, MYSELF. And guess what? He sees us? Not sometimes, not “if” times, but ALWAYS. He created us, sees us, hears us and most definitely KNOWS us- more than we ever could try to know ourselves (Jeremiah 1:4-10). But sometimes we doubt Him and this truth.

We’re on this road of life, and we’re doing great. Maybe we’re going through a rough road or maybe it’s the best we’ve ever been on in our lives. Maybe we just got through one stoplight/sign or maybe we’ve gone a long ways without one. But all of a sudden, whether or not you see it coming, there WILL BE a stoplight. We come up to it, with several other turning lanes beside us, some more cars facing different directions all at this stoplight that connects them- 3 way, 4 way, doesn’t matter.

Another car/other cars are pulling up at the same time as you, them being in the adjacent lane. You see yourself stop first, and you believe the light will be in your favor next, because you believe it is your turn. Theres a pause with all of the cars, and then, all of a sudden, the light turns green on the OPPOSITE side, giving the adjacent car who came up with you the “go-ahead.”

“But, what?! I was here first. I stopped first. I’ve been waiting longer, it was my turn!”

“Well, maybe the light didn’t detect me, maybe it didn’t see me, maybe I’m not close enough to it, for it to detect me. I’m gonna drive up closer to it so that it sees that I’m here and let’s me GO”

Y’all, how many times do we do this? We’re going along in life, whether it be great or not, and all of a sudden we come up to a choice, a decision, an opportunity that we’ve worked hard to get to, an experience, or whatever the case may be. You’ve worked so hard and rode on so many roads to get here. You and others drive up to a stop at this “stoplight”. You put on the brakes and are waiting for “your go-ahead” to come, expecting it to be next. But then, all of a sudden, it’s not. Someone else’s light turns green, and yours stays red. Then another, and maybe even ANOTHER. You look anxiously at their lights, waiting for the yellow light to come on, indicating your green is about to come. You anxiously look about and wonder “Well, maybe God didn’t see me. Maybe I need to get close enough. Maybe I need to pull up and remind Him that I WAS here first. What if He forgot about me. What if HE, GOD. LOVE. doesn’t love me anymore? Do you see me, God? Did YOU, The LORD GOD of all, SEE when I came up and braked at this stoplight? I was here first!”

i was never here first, y’all. He was. He knows that HE is the way. He knows that HE is the ONE Who got you to that stoplight. HE KNOWS every turn you will ever make, whether it be the one that you obeyed HIM on, and He even knows the ones you will make where you disobeyed HIM on. HE. Loves. YOU. He sees you. You were NEVER supposed to go before that person. He had you WAIT for a reason. He knows. He knew. And He will always KNOW. Never doubt for a moment that our God is controlling those stoplights and that He does, in fact, see you.

He is keeping you safe. He is your shelter. Run to Him, dwell in Him, FIND that HE IS security and you will find SECURITY in Him. And along the way- learn to rest at the stoplights- keeping focused on Him, reminded that He is still good, even in the waiting. As much as He is in the going. In the times of stoplights, God is NOT trying to punish you or taunt you by making you wait and watch others drive by in what you felt you deserve at that time. He is humbling you, preparing you for what He has already willed for you before He created you in the womb He knew. He doesn’t want you to watch those cars drive by and be anxious, He wants you to keep your focus on Him. Always. After all, isn’t is He Who is driving the car you’re in?

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.””

Jeremiah 1:4-10

Now the word of the Lord came to me saying,

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,

And before you were born I consecrated you;

I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Then I said, “Alas, Lord God!

Behold, I do not know how to speak,

Because I am a youth.”

But the Lord said to me,

“Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’

Because everywhere I send you, you shall go,

And all that I command you, you shall speak.

“Do not be afraid of them,

For I am with you to deliver you,” declares the Lord.

Then the Lord stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me,

“Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.

“See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms,

To pluck up and to break down,

To destroy and to overthrow,

To build and to plant.”

John 3:16-17 He. Knows. You. He. LOVES you. LOVE. Loves you. Loves me. Loves us. Wow.

John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I’m IN LOVE, you guys. Like really, I’m seriously eternally IN LOVE. Some of y’all are like, “Whatttttt?! With who?!” And some of you get it. For those of you who don’t get it, let me explain.

I am IN LOVE. What does this mean? This doesn’t mean that I am passionate or “head over heels for”(Seriously, what does this phrase even mean? You falling backwards?) for some other soul. Ain’t no male created by Love Himself that can compare to what I’m talking about.

God is Love (1 John 4:7-21), and Love, Who is God HIMSELF LOVES US MORE THAN ENOUGH, soooo so much not only that HE would create us in HIS IMAGE so fearfully, wonderfully and beautifully (Genesis 1:27. Psalm 139:13-18), but He would personally care enough for His children to desire a relationship with us, even while in our sins, to come down TO EARTH as His only begotten Son JESUS and be crucified on a cross, defeating death, resurrecting from the grave for eternity 3 days later (death never had a chance), God has the eternal victory, therefore we have the victory IN HIM! God, who desires a relationship with us, has even, before He created time when He knew us still and what would happen and that He would still create, love, adore, and save us (He is all-knowing-omniscient), would, did, inside of us, HIS creation, the desire and need and want and passion for HIM. And HIM alone, only HIM. He PURPOSELY placed this desire and need inside of us for Him, because He knows who He is and that He is eternal fulfillment, and that no one and nothing else COULD ever fulfill this need and desire and want and longing, burning passion that we just want to KNOW and SEEK  intently. Every other “pleasurable” thing is earthly. It will not last. Only He will, and He is not of this earth, not of this world, ever. He is God and He is good.

And WHEN we are saved. WHEN we are in a true, genuine eternal relationship with HIM, He makes us realize that it’s not even the relationship that is fulfilling, it’s HIM, only HIM, EVER AND ALWAYS, THE ETERNALLY, HE IS THE ETERNALLY!

He reveals to us, His children, the truth in what He has spoken: THE ETERNAL TRUTH, HIS WORD!

2 Corinthians 5:15-21

“15and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. 16Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. 17Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 18Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

When we are born again(John 3), when we are completely, fulfilling and eternally saved by GOD THE ETERNAL SAVIOR, the old is gone, the new has come. we are no longer our older selves. we are not “ourselves”, for we do not belong to ourselves, for that is selfish. We now realize, because THE GOOD LORD has made it fully known to us that IN HIM we are fully known, and yet FULLY LOVED, and HIS, no more “us”. for we are NOT GOD. HE ALONE IS GOD! We are NOT! So when we are living, our flesh is now dead. We still have our souls, and now our (His) souls are completely saved, for He created us, our souls. So since the flesh in which we were living in is dead, what now are we living in? Him. : we are living in complete freedom, complete love, complete fulfillment, satisfaction, completion, all eternal redemption. We are not Him, but by HIS ETERNAL EVERLASTING ABOUNDING LOVE AND GRACE WE ARE NOW LIVING IN HIM!

living IN LOVE.

God is Love, therefore we are walking in Love, living in Love, TRULY breathing and stepping out in faith and standing still and resting at the same time IN PEACE in LOVE. God is God and God is GREAT, LOVE HIMSELF is beyond greatness.

John 3 (NASB)

The New Birth

Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born gain he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus *said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can these things be?” 10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and do not understand these things? 11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you do not accept our testimony. 12 If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man. 14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; 15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”

Galatians 2:20-21

“20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”

Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”

winter blog post

Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.

IT’S WINTER!! YAY!! It’s cold and cozy and if you’re in the south or California (okay maybe California isn’t quite there just yet), it has just recently gotten chilly. Fall was warm, and then cool, and then a warm and cool mixture again, but it was great. God controls the weather and God is good, so GOD IS SO SO BEYOND BEYOND ETERNALLY GOOD AND GREAT! HE IS GREAT AND BEYOND MORE!

So The LORD has laid on my heart and given me the blessing of the ability to glorify and praise and please only HIM with a… WINTER BLOG POST! This is gonna be great, yall, because He is living inside of me and is the eternal life INSIDE OF ME! HOW GREAT IS THE GOD WE SERVE THE ETERNALLY AND LOVE HIMSELF!!

So since it’s wintertime, a lot of the time people think about shutting ourselves in and getting cozy, while others want to bundle up (“dressed like eskimossssss”) and go do outdoor activities. I haven’t done so recently, so as I’m typing this blog post I’m gonna be inspiring myself as well, with both indoor and outdoor activities, clothing, fun things, and even food! (and warm drinks, because ya know, winter!)

But first Jesus. For real though. I wanna talk about something that The LORD literally just laid on my heart, He is so good and cool. Let’s talk about bundling up. Wow. So cool(haha, cold weather). When we know we are about to go out into the cold, into a snow storm or even a chilly day, we immediately know to bundle up. Putting on our jackets, fuzzy socks (yay!), and layers and layers of lots and lots of clothes, top it off with a scarf and gloves and boom! You know that you are ready to walk out into the cold and despite the weather around you, you are warm and toasty and don’t feel a thing. This world is cold, yall. This world is broken. but GOD. BUT THE GOD THE ETERNALLY! He has given us the grace and mercy and forgiveness, love and lovingkindness to wrap us up, bundle us up in all that HE IS: LOVE JOY PEACE PATIENCE KINDNESS, GENTLENESS, SELF-CONTROL, PERSEVERANCE, MERCY, GRACE, FORGIVENESS AND LOVINGKINDNESS AND MORE THE ETERNALLY because that’s WHO HE IS AND MORE. And HE wants us to draw even more near to Him, so that despite the weather we will know the true eternal toastiness(is this a word?). He has given us the truth in HIS WORD THE ETERNAL TRUTH THE BIBLE: in Ephesians 6:10-24 He reminds us and teaches us to PUT ON HIS ETERNAL ARMOR

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 [c]With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, 19 and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

21 But that you also may know about my circumstances, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make everything known to you. 22 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, so that you may know about us, and that he may comfort your hearts.

23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.

Isaiah 40:8New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.

2 Timothy 1:7New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.

timidity: or cowardice

discipline: or sound judgement

Let others see and hear and want to know HIM the ETERNALLY living inside of us, and not us at all!

yall are like, what? why? Well I’ll gladly explain 🙂 !

Before you do anything, you’ve gotta clean, right? Get everything all nice and tidy before you cozy up by the fireplace or on the couch, it’ll be more peaceful and oh, when those blankets and socks come right out of the dryer, yep, you know! Here’s some tips:

deep cleaning

because I know you’ll be burning them candles:

candle jars

you’ll probably be doing a lot of these since you are out of school, off of work, even if it’s for a little bit! And even during the busy schedule, it’s good and fun to do these things so that it’s not all work work work and school school school! Here are both some indoor and outdoor ACTIVITIES:

Cozy up in your favorite pjs, sweats, fuzzy socks, blankets and popcorn and water and put in one of your favorites! Whether this be by yourself or with others, it’ll be a great time to just chill and relax! Here are some suggestions:

One of the first categories that pops into my head when I think of winter and movies is the hallmark channel. But the movies that come to my mind are actually a part of their CHRISTMAS selection! I know, I know, Christmas is over, but I’m sure you can find some of their movies on Netflix, hulu, etc. Here are some of my personal favorites!:

“A Perfect Christmas”

A newlywed couple hosts Christmas at their home, and in the busyness of their lives (trying to plan it out, actually), a few things happen that they don’t expect just yet, i.e. getting fired right before Christmas, while simultaneously being given a gift that they didn’t expect quite yet(hint hint).

link to the trailer:

“A Cookie Cutter Christmas”

A teacher has a new student who just moved into the town… and this student also has a single father. He wants to be involved more with his daughter at her school, and Miss Reynolds wants to participate in the school’s “cookie competition”. The student’s father is also a good cook, the teacher, not so much. I pray that you see where this is going.

link to the trailer:

other: here’s some selections of movies that are tasteful and safe to watch even around kids, if it’s hard for you to find some such as that!

“Toy Story”

Whether it’s 1, 2 or 3, the whole family will get a laugh from watching this movie, especially with the humor in the characters! (P.s. if you’re at least 15 years old, you may tear up in the 3rd film. I won’t say anymore.)

This movie, like Toy Story, will have the whole family laughing. It’s actually one of the best animated movies I think I’ve ever seen. (The DMV scene will have you laughing so hard) 🙂

“101 Dalmatians”

“Is this list only Disney?” It sure does seem like it, doesn’t it? But really, some of the best family movies are Disney. This film is super sweet, and I prefer the 1961 animated version over the 1996 version jussssst by a little bit!

“The Game Plan”

I remember the day my aunt, sister and I went to see this movie in theaters. My aunt questioned me wanting to see it because it just looked like “a football movie”, but after seeing it it is safe to say it is now one of my favorites. And NOT “a football movie”. This movie will have you laughing, smiling, and maybe tearing up a bit. It’s clean and family-friendly and so so cute with Dwayne Johnson and Madison Pettis. Ballet and football turns out to be a great combination!!

Have a wintery-ish party! You know, one of those!

The decorations in this blog post are so cute and can be used indoors and outdoors, no matter what kind of get-together or party you are having! Change it up a bit and even personalize it with names or anything else that may be fun to do!

These “white pom poms” are super cute and a great idea for a part of the room, outside or even a photo backdrop! Get some string, even wire, and get creative with material for the cute “snowballs”!! 🙂 🙂

This hot chocolate bar has got to be one of the CUTEST winter (even year-round) ideas that I’ve ever seen. Personalize it and even decorate it how you like! This is such a fun idea for friends and family. You can even make it a coffee/tea bar, or anything else that you can creatively think of!! 🙂 🙂

Okay, y’all. Don’t these cinnamon roll cake pops just look so so good?! Such a quick and tasty treat for the mornings or even a get-together/sleepover with yo bestie! Super cute and fun to make! I would definitely love to try this with others!!

And while we’re on the topic of fun bar food and drink setups you can do during these winter months, how about a chili bar!! How super cute is this setup?! You can even do soup and salad or again, anything else that you can creatively think of!! 🙂 Also, check out those flowers in the CHILI CAN! YES!

I have seen these “winter ONEderland” birthday parties pop up a lot of places, aka winter themed birthday parties for one-year-olds, and the pictures and ideas don’t disappoint. This is a super cool (haha) and cute idea not only for a one-year-old birthday party but really for any winter-themed party or get-together for multiple occasions! But also, the “melted snowflake” labels for the water bottles are a super cool and creative idea! How cool is God?! He is so so beyond greatness! He is! Only Him!!

Ice Skating! (indoor and outdoor!)

Either or, you’re sure to have loads of fun doing this with your friends and family! Personally, I haven’t tried it, yet, but I’m looking oh so forward to the opportunity to! The railing will be handy when you begin, or so I’ve heard!

Go online and search the nearest rink near you!

Am I crazy? You may ask. Well, no. If you’re someone who loveesssss to hike, like me, some of the best trails will be great even when you’re bundled up and with a group of people! Even by yourself, that’s cool too. You may even see some snow and/or frozen waterfalls in the cold temps!

I know what you’re probably thinking, “What? How is this on the dinner section? What even would this be listed under? Is it even good?” Well, to be honest, I don’t know. I don’t know if I’ve ever even had acorn squash, let alone baked and topped with butter and brown sugar! But hear me out, when I saw this I saw the potential inside of it. It could be used for dinner, as a fall/winter version of the recently popular “stuffed tomatoes” or “stuffed peppers” entree! Healthy (as I just read), it can be used as even a side dish, season it as you like or not at all, whether that be with this recipe’s butter and brown sugar or a light and simple salt&pepper combo. Or a snack, I mean that’s a good snack I’m pretty sure of it!

Crockpot meals:

I know a quick and delicious way to whip up most of these recipes, whether it be for yourself, your family, friends, or a huge gathering, is to use the crockpot or “slow-cooker”, as well as a lot of other winter-y meals/dishes, so I highly suggest going to find these and other (lots of) meals that can be cooked in the crockpot/slow-cooker, you won’t regret it!

Here are some quick and easy winter-y snack recipes to eat throughout the day, just chit-chattin’ and even when you’re watching those movies!

Soft pretzel bites with cheese sauce! Forget the cheese sauce, i’m down for just the soft mini-pretzel bites! These used to be one of my favorite treats from a place called Auntie Annie’s which is in the local mall. Great for a snack and crowd just chilling!

soft pretzel bites

White chocolate-peppermint-covered pretzel sticks! These are definitely easy, and tasty! White chocolate and peppermint are two things that go very well together, as well as both being a favorite among recipes and toppings when it comes to the cold winter months, and fall! Use these as stirrers to add to your hot chocolates that I will get to in a second ;)!

Snowball party mix! This six ingredient party mix can be used for multiple occasions: family, friends, movie night, even throw this into little treat bags for a gift to a neighbor! Chai cookies: This may be an odd one to start out with, but I figured (or so I’ve heard) that since there are so many who love chai tea, why not use this chai cookie recipe! Fun to bake by yourself, with family and with friends, and hey, go ahead and have a chai tea or chai tea latte on the side 🙂

chai cookies

Apple pie bites: I’ve seen this recipe swirling around on the internet for what seems like years now, and I have yet to try it out! Apple is a favorite in the cold months, as well as cinnamon, seeing as they are used in quite a few recipes. Put them both into a crescent roll? Done. Ready to go, and oh so tasty! Mm mmm good!

apple pie bites

Glazed apple-cinnamon oatmeal bread!: This recipe just sounds good reading the name of it! Wholesome nut breads/breads in general are definitely a favorite of mine and others, in the winter. They’re soft, wholesome, and tasty, and can be eaten for breakfast, snacks, or even desserts. This one is for sure to be a favorite with apple, cinnamon, oatmeal and that word “glazed”. You almost know it’s good if it has that word in there!!

glazed apple cinnamon oatmeal bread

white chocolate peanut butter crackers!: Okay y’all, I’m gonna explain. If you haven’t had these(if you can’t because of allergies, you can switch up the ingredients), you should give them a try. Almost every year my great-grandmother makes these for Christmas, and I enjoy each one I eat. They are seriously so. good. So good. Like, y’all. I can’t even explain it, haha.

white chocolate peanut butter crackers

Red velvet chocolate chip cookies!: To add to the list of winter-y treats, red velvet is a great addition! Throw in some white chocolate chips and you have a batch of some pretty(and tasty!) cookies for a crowd!!! 🙂

red velvet choco chip cookies

Eggnog fudge: I tried eggnog for the first time late last year, didn’t like it. I tried it cold, however, right from the bottle, so that’s probably the first thing wrong. I’ve heard if you add milk to dilute it, it’s better, and some say to drink it warm. Either way, that was not for me. Nope nope nope, I’m gonna stick with hot chocolate. And coffee, and tea. But not eggnog, not for me(wow that rhymed! How cool is GOD and not me?!) However, I know that there are others who really do enjoy eggnog, so this is for y’all. And since fudge seems to be a popular crowd or gifting treat, this seemed fitting for this winter post that the LORD has laid on my heart to do for Him!! 🙂

eggnog fudge

Pumpkin Pecan Cobbler: Yummmmy yum yum yum yum! All of this just sounds oh so so yummy! Cobbler is a definite dessert staple in the south, maybe in the north, as well, I’m not sure. Warm Drinks!:

Okay, here we are. The ultimate category when it comes to winter&food: the cozy warm drinks! Whether it’s hot chocolate, coffee, tea or cider, we all have that go-to warm and cozy drink. Maybe not, and that’s okay, but if they are for you or you’re wanting to give some a try, here they are!

“The world’s best hot chocolate”

That’s a BOLD statement, but give it a try. My friend Sarah had tried this and on New Year’s Eve-New Years Day (it turned 12:00 AM while God was letting us make this), she introduced me to it, and I was very very happy. No, seriously, you should try this hot chocolate if you are a fan. It may not be the world’s best hot chocolate, as I cannot testify to that, but it sure is good! A great recipe for the winter-classic!

White hot chocolate recipe: My mom made white hot chocolate one year for my birthday party, and I just remember it being soooo good! White chocolate is definitely one of my favorites, so put it into a warm drink and it is mmm mmm good!!

Earl gray vanilla latte (London Fog): If you haven’t tried a london fog drink, you should, seriously. I was introduced to these about 2 years ago it seems and it has quickly become one of my favorite cozy drinks. Not close to coffee or tea by itself(and with honey), but up there on the list, seriously! With earl grey tea bags, honey, milk and vanilla bean, you will feel cozy on the inside when you drink this. It smells so good, too!

Pumpkin-spice oatmeal latte!: The title of this seems a bit much, but the recipe and pictures make it look just right! All of these ingredients joined together makes for a wholesome, did I mention wholesome, tasty and warm beverage treat!

Slow-cooker sea salt caramel hot chocolate

sea salt and caramel and hot chocolate, oh my! Yep, that’s right, there’s a slow-cooker/crockpot recipe for this, as well! This five ingredient warm treat will surely be a tasty one! This is definitely one I’m ready to make with the gal friends soon, hopefully!!

Homemade gingerbread latte!: Gingerbread isn’t just for those cookies! This latte is for sure, at least I think, to put you in the winter-y mood! (Winter version of pumpkin spice, even?)

Homemade apple cider:  Because apple cider is one of those winter drinks, ya know? If you haven’t had apple cider, or have only had it cold (Is that even a thing?), I suggest trying it, seriously. It’s like warm apple juice, with a spice, but better than I can describe it, obviously.

Warm honey-vanilla milk.: Also known as milk and honey, this drink will quickly become something of a favorite. May not be an every day/night drink, but it is for sure a drink to enjoy just because, or if you’re needing a relaxing drink. My friend Sarah and her family introduced me to this drink, well, I had heard about it but never tried it until soon after that, and i LOVED it.

Yep. We’re gonna title this one just that, cause we gonna wear b=modest clothing, and not just because it’s typical to bundle up in the winter, but ALLLL of the time, for THE LORD GOD THE ALMIGHTY THE ETERNALLY!! my identity is in CHRIST GOD only, The Messiah of all the world and no one and nothing else ever.

1 Peter 3:3-4 “3 Your adornment must not be merely external-braiding the hair,and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; 4 but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.”

verses 8-12 “To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing. For,

Ephesians 6:10-13 (10-24: The Armor of God) “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

let us God, let us and help us to glorify YOU in every moment in everything.!!

Plaid is one of those winter-y things, ya know? Actually, plaid is one of my favorite patterns, and I will wear it in every season. Whether it’s a button up, classic flannel, blanket(We’ll get to those later), socks, skirt, or even a dress, hey, bandanas as well, a classic plaid pattern is a great addition to an outfit, in multiple colors!

First on this list, this plaid tiered button-back top  which can easily be paired with several colors of jeans: for example, regular blue denim, white, even green. This shirt is so cute with it’s classic pattern and flowy bottom!

plaid tiered button

Next, this holiday plaid dress. It may be a bit bold for some, but it’s actually quite cute. The classic plaid in dress-form actually doesn’t look so bad! Pair with a cardigan (navy, like the picture, or whatever color, white I would say 🙂 ). This dress is a bit pricey, however, and after doing some searching online I found that there are somewhat different versions of a red plaid dress in various places!

Next, this plaid button up paired with this white, polka dot midi skirt. You can even go with a maxi skirt for this one! Tucked in, this is darling. So cute. Can use all sorts of plaid and colors for this, but the red (or green) gives it such a warm and cozy look. Blue would be nice as well, even pink, well let’s throw yellow in there as well. All of the colors in the rainbow! 🙂 🙂 God is cool and great, y’all!! 🙂

This navy blue plaid midi skirt is definitely classic looking, can be paired with a white (or matched-color) blouse, even casual tee or long sleeve.

This broad-plaid printed navy dress looks comfy and cozy and EVEN HAS POCKETS! Yep, that’s right. Pockets!! mhm. I know. Plus, it’s on SALE! cool, right?! Okay. Anyways, looks like your traditional plaid isn’t the only one looking good on apparel. This broad print makes it even more versatile if you’re wanting to keep the red “holiday plaid” with the winter months!

And lastly, a picture, simply of a bunch of flannels. PLAID flannels. Enjoy!

A few trends that I feel are picking up and are SUPER CUTE AND MODEST are the following 2 categories that I will now discuss:

Yep. Ruffles. Super cute, and can now be found on most apparel, i.e. dresses, shirts, skirts, yep. Flowy, tunic shirts are becoming more of the clothing that I see each day and I am LOVING IT! WAY better than something tight, this stuff is way more comfortable!

This short sleeved jersey dress with ruffle bottom is super cute, looks super soft and comfy and great for all occasions!! Paired with some sneaks and a hat in this pic, It makes me want to lounge, even do laundry, in this outfit! (The page for this dress is actually not found, but here is the link to the website linked to the photo:

short sleeve jersey

This short-sleeve ruffle hem shirt is one that is so casual and yet looks so cute. So so cute. I would literally get one of these in every color. Bright yellow, yes. Pink, yes. Olive? Orange? Yes. Pair it with shorts, jeans, even a midi or maxi skirt and BOOM. yep. By the way, are these new shirts called “loose peplum”, or something?

short sleeve ruffle hem shirt

This shirt is almost identical to the one before, but it’s a bit longer and has stripes, and oh how cute the stripes are. Pattern on these shirts, yay! Florals, next?!

short sleeve ruffle2

This skirt is one of the many that exemplifies the “ruffle pattern” in skirt-form. Whether it’s midi or maxi, the ruffles add the literal flare and flow to this piece of the entire outfit. We can even add a loose peplum (ruffle) top to this and make it and extra-ruffly outfit!!

bella skirt

Lace. All things lacy. So cute, so darling and so dainty. Yet, bold, at the same time. This style can make an appearance, and does, in multiple ways, whether that be an addition to a shirt, as a detail, as a hair accessory, or even a whole dress.

This shirt is just cute. Like, I would love to wear this casually or even in a dressier way. Pair it with some boots or any other shoe really. It looks so so comfy as well!

lace shirt

This hair bow is such a cute addition to any outfit. I am personally a huge fan of all things bows and bandanas, so so cute, so this lacy hair bow is definitely something I would consider wearing!

Scarves are fun, and I’m sure you could find already-made lacy scarves for the cold months, but DIY’s are always so much fun! Here’s a DIY lace fabric scarf made from a t-shirt and a tablecloth, simple, right?! (AND CUTE!)

diy lace fabric

As I said before, lace doesn’t always have to be a touch of fabric in an outfit or used only as an accessory, it can be the entire outfit! As seen in this dress. (This dress is actually sold out on the website, but again, these are just inspiration ideas for lace)!

lace dress

Speaking of tunic dresses, let’s move onto our next category in winter-wear:

Tunics are in, and I’m so so excited. These shirts or dress are long, flowy, loose and comfortable. All good things. Here’s a few inspirations:

These loose tunic shirts come in several colors and are great to wear to church, a picnic, even just chilling at home writing a blog post for The LORD. (I’m actually not wearing it but I’m just giving an example 🙂 ). Oh and look! Some lace added on at the bottom, so so cute! These are two different websites, but I just wanted to give reference.

Yes, green. A classic dark/forest/hunter green always looks nice, especially when paired with none-other than red. Interesting, right? 🙂 ! Plaid is always a nice option, as well. Here’s some green pieces that go well for almost any outfit that I thought were nice:

Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

And last but certainly not least… a winter (well for me, all of the time) staple… a favorite among many,… a very warm addition to ANY and I sure do mean ANY outfit……

That’s right, because fuzzy socks are kind of like a great addition to a post like this, winter and stuff, ya know? Ya feel? You’ll feel warm with this addition. Haha!

look at the little lace detail with the heather’ed pattern/material!!

I hope y’all enjoyed this post as much as I did writing it! I love making posts like this for THE LORD and I’m oh so so glad and thankful to HIM ALONE that HE calls me to do it for HIM AND HIS GLORY ONLY ALWAYS ETERNALLY FOR HIM THE ETERNALLY!

Psalm 118:24 “This is the day which the LORD has made;

Proverbs 3:1-15 “1 My son, do not forget my teaching, But let your heart keep my commandments; 2 For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you. 3 Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. 8 It will be healing to your body And refreshment to your bones. 9 Honor the LORD from your wealth And from the first of all your produce; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine. 11 My son, do not reject discipline of the LORD Or loath His reproof, 12 For whom the LORD loves He reproves, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. 13 How blessed is the man who finds wisdom And the man who gains understanding. 14 For her profit is better than the profit of silver And her gain better than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than jewels; And nothing you desire compares with her.”

Proverbs 3:1-15 “1 My son, do not forget my teaching,

But let your heart keep my commandments;

2 For length of days and years of life

And peace they will add to you.

3 Do not let kindness and truth leave you;

Bind them around your neck,

Write them on the tablet of your heart.

4 So you will find favor and good repute

In the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart

And do not lean on your own understanding.

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He will make your paths straight.

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;

Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.

8 It will be healing to your body

And refreshment to your bones.

9 Honor the LORD from your wealth

And from the first of all your produce;

10 So your barns will be filled with plenty

And your vats will overflow with new wine.

11 My son, do not reject discipline of the LORD

Or loath His reproof,

12 For whom the LORD loves He reproves,

Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.

13 How blessed is the man who finds wisdom

And the man who gains understanding.

14 For her profit is better than the profit of silver

And her gain better than fine gold.

15 She is more precious than jewels;

And nothing you desire compares with her.”

trust IN HIM! Always! Eternally!!

the polar express

“Are you sure?”

This is a question that is asked quite often.

By us,

to ourselves, others, even GOD.

by others,

as they question us.

I’m sure most of you are familiar with this scene from the movie “The Polar Express”. I’ve watched it a lot this season, and not a mistake either, because The Lord GOD OF ALL has shown me how similar the lesson in this particular scene is to us as we walk with, by and follow the Lord our Eternal Good Father and Shepherd, GOD!

If you’ve seen the polar express, you know that the overall central theme and message in the movie is: truly believing. And we know, as followers of CHRIST, that truly believing doesn’t always mean “without tests of your belief.” If you haven’t seen this movie or have simply forgotten what is going on, I’m gonna break this scene down: The main character walks in (or should I say, tumbles) to see the girl who’s ticket he lost, then found, driving the train. He is confused and she explains to him that she is there because they are fixing the light in the front of the train. She shows him all of the levers and knobs, telling what each one is, the brake, the ___, even, yes, the whistle. They are taken by surprise as they are commanded by the engineer in front yelling at them to “Stop the train! Stop the train!”. And they immediatneky rush over to the levers. The boy asks “Which one is the brake?!” The girl points to a golden lever and says “This one!” He questions her, “Who told you that?” She responds: “The engineer!”

Engineer: a person who designs, builds, or maintains engines, machines, or public works.

“A railroad engineer does much more than just drive the train – he or she is ultimately responsible for the entire train during a run.”

The boy questions her, “The engineer?” He points to a red lever and asks, “What about this one that looks like a brake?”

pause. “looks like.” Proceed:

She responds, “No no____”

the boy asks her, “Are you sure?”

she suddenly looks confused and becomes worried.

“Are you sure?” he asks again, this time her response is shown in her reaction in her face, and she sits down and covers her eyes. She peeps through her hands to watch the boy first go towards the red lever, even placing his hands on it, but looking at her he reconsiders and pulls the golden lever, the correct lever, the brake, and the train stops.

im in no way shape or form trying to or comparing THE GOD to santa claus and our walk and relationship with HIM to the polar express movie, but we can sure relate to the message in this particular scene.

James 1 Testing Your Faith:1-4 “1 James, a bond-servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,

To the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad: Greetings.

2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be lacking in nothing.”

We will have trials, we will have testing of our faith in THE GOD!

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

and some one of these trials and testings can come from even the smallest of words. How ironic is it that a question that asks about what you are sure of, what you know, can make you so unsure, just because the other person may not be sure about what you are SURELY SURE about. Confused? I pray not 😂.

Like i said before, this question is asked quite often, by ourselves and others. And a lot of the time the “Are you sure?” comes during the pressure,  during the “stop the train!-now what do we do?!-” situations.

When we are in this situation, when we are under pressure and we are followers of Christ and someone else is not, we know what we know because of WHO we know and what HE, THE GOD THE ETERNALLY has told us and we point to what we know because we know that it will work, God gave us that golden lever and told us what it is for, and we know this. We are asked by non-believers, “What should we do in this situation? There are so many options, which is the correct one?!” And we point to the golden lever, we show them, we are sure of this because THE ETERNAL ENGINEER WHO IS IN CONTROL has told us that this is the brake. This is it.

And then they question us.

that tiny, three word sentence catches us off guard sometimes.

“Are you sure?”

we say yes.

“But how do you know?! Who told you?!”

“The Engineer! God told me! I know HIM and HE told and tells and teaches me!!”

and then they question, Him, The GOD of the universe Who created it and them.

“The Engineer? But… what about this red lever that LOOKS LIKE the brake?”

we repeat, “No no, it’s this one.”

“Are you sure?”

We suddenly begin to question what THE GOD has told us, Complete fulfilled eternal SURENESS HIMSELF has told us to be sure of, this lever and how it will help us. He knows. And just like that, because of the other’s unbelief, we begin to question ourselves, we panic, and we place our hands over our eyes and cover our face, we try to hide because we don’t know what to do. Their unsureness makes us question what Surety Himself THE ETERNALLY has told us.

and it doesn’t matter which lever may look like the brake, there can be only one. The Truth. The true eternal brake that can stop the train when we are in this situation.

Because souls in the world are so USED TO what the world has thought a brake should look like, red, people will begin to associate the red lever, anything other than the golden one, to “the brake”, to what they need, or to what they need to “pull” or turn to, even in pressure. But we know, because God knows and has so graciously told and taught and teaches us, that there is only one and nothing else will satisfy. No other lever on that panel will stop the train EXCEPT THE BRAKE. The Truth. There is only one truth, HIM.

But on the flip side, on the opposite end of the tracks(haha), it’s not an unbeliever questioning our faith or even us questioning ourselves and what we know to be the truth, but when we question, GOD HIMSELF!

yes, when we question The God of the universe. When we’re under pressure, in the situation of a dark valley and we are called to stop the train, to be still, or when something doesn’t go the way we had thought it would, and God tells us to pull the brake. He taught us from the beginning which lever the brake was, He teaches us where to run to, but then we question HIM.

“are YOU sure, God? Because this red lever looks like a brake so it looks like what i think i need to do!”

He assures us that HE is sure of what we know.

And sometimes we listen, and sometimes we question HIM even more.

“But God, this one really looks like the right decision. I mean, i know You’re The Engineer, Conductor, and in complete eternal control of the train and everything, and i know YOU showed me what everything was at the beginning and so graciously taught me and showed me, but this realllllllly looks like the brake and what a brake is supposed to look like.”

and He will remind us that His ways are higher, and that He is not of the world and His ways, the WAY, the ETERNAL TRUTH, is and will be and look different than the world.

Isaiah 55:8-9

8 “For My thoughts are not Your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.

9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways

And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

So when your faith is tested, are you going to trust completely IN GOD? Because trusting completely fully surely eternally IN HIM doesn’t mean that there will not be trials and you won’t worry, because you’re not perfect, im not perfect, God is the eternal perfection HIMSELF, we are imperfect and never can be perfect humans. Trusting completely IN GOD means that during the tough, hard, rough, pressure-filled times we will remember HIM, remember what HE has taught, does teach and will teach us, because we know and are sure of Him, even when we may not know what’s next, only He does. He helps us. He will never leave nor forsake us.

and unlike this movie, unlike any comparison you can ever think of, God is in COMPLETE CONTROL. He is in charge, He directs our paths, leads us and guides us and runs to us when we get off track. He has placed the eternal golden lever, if you will, in our lives: Him. He wants us to run and turn to HIM! He is our help and strength. He is the Way the Truth and The Life The Eternally!! Amen.

Praying for y’all.

Part 2 to this post coming soon!!

Matthew 5:16-17 “16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. 17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.”

John 14:6 “6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Philippians 1:6 “6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 1:1-11

Paul and Timothy, bond-servants of Christ Jesus,

To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all, in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now. For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me. For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus. And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; 11 having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Are you truly full? What are you filled with? Who or what are you going to and relying on for fulfillment, completion, and satisfaction? What are the results of this?

In the world, sadly, there are multiple answers and perspectives to this question. Souls are looking everywhere to be happy, to find joy, to feel satisfied, complete and whole. and yet, they never truly do. Maybe for a moment, yes, but then that feeling fades away. That feeling of hope or satisfaction or “happiness” satisfies for the moment but never stays, never fulfills, never truly makes you come alive, it just distracts you for a second.

But GOD. See, when you are a believer AND follower of THE LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST THE ETERNALLY, the answer to these questions is certain. It is different. There is no questioning or doubting, there is no “what or where or how or who”. There is THE ONLY ONE WHO has already satisfied.

We, our souls, were made for GOD. To love HIM, to worship HIM, to serve HIM, to adore HIM, and to live completely eternally FOR HIM (Genesis 1:26-28, Colossian 1:13-20). But we as people tend to do the opposite of what we’re supposed to. We are all born with a void inside that can and will only be filled by THE ONE, THE ONLY TRUE GOD.

There is so much temptation and distraction around us. The devil is real, yall. He is lurking, wanting us to be tempted and “desire” anything and everything else that is not of God, because even he, the devil, satan himself, knows that THE GOD IS THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD THE ETERNALLY, and he wants to do anything and everything to try and keep us away from HIM, which cant happen(Romans 8). Because of this, so much is thrown in front of us in our walks. Sex, drugs, pornography, lies, abominations that are so disgusting and wrong and yet, somehow, we fall into their pits. We think we are strong on our own and by our own self and own self-strength, we think “we can handle it on our own”, and then we meet a time when we are tested.

Everyone knows what I’m talking about. A time in these lives that aren’t ours to begin with, a time when we feel the pressure, when we are insulted, betrayed, lied to, discouraged, weakened to the point when we think we cannot bare to go on anymore, we’re sad, depressed, lonely, shaken, “down in the dumps”. And what do we do? Where do we run? Where do we hide ourselves? We search. We love searching for whatever, whomever, wherever may be a place that we can hide ourselves “from reality”, wherever we can turn to “to get our minds off of the pain”, whatever can place a momentary (not even quality) bandage on the wound on ourselves.

We as people in this world turn to sex. We turn to another person, to do something created for the beautiful blessing of and from THE GOD of marriage, “as a fix” to feel external, physical pleasure in a moment that does not last a lifetime, that is not a guarantee and that is not eternal. It is fantastic in a moment to us, it is satisfactory in our minds and yet, in our hearts and souls, we know and we feel, we are NOT satisfied.

We as people turn to pornography. We are so intrigued by this lie, this pit that is available for us in a moment, in the click of a button or the turn of a page of a magazine, our earthly eyes love the sight of sin. We look to this “as a fix” to feel external, physical pleasure in a moment that does not last a lifetime, that is not a guarantee and that is not eternal. It is fantastic in a moment to us, it is satisfactory in our minds and yet, in our hearts and soul, we know and we feel, we are still NOT satisfied.

We are people turn to the lies. We don’t want to but we are so intrigued by “the what ifs”, even as they are hurting us. We know what is being said and done is not true and is wrong about us, but we are so afraid, so worried of missing out, of being excluded from the conversation or the activity, the social media or the party that we do not want to miss even a single moment of it. It is deteriorating ourselves, yet we think we love it, “that we are enjoying it”. We look to this “as a fix” to feel external, physical pleasure in a moment that does not last a lifetime, that is not a guarantee and that is not eternal. It is fantastic in a moment to us, it is satisfactory in our minds and yet, in our heart and soul, we know and we feel, we are STILL NOT satisfied.

We as people turn to drugs. We think a pill in a bottle or the bottom of one “can ease the pain” and “can satisfy our desire and need and want”. We think “If I can just keep feeling this happiness or this pleasure or this satisfaction when the needle is in my arm or when I cannot and do not even remember where I am or what time of the day it is, I will be free.” We look to this “as a fix” to feel external, physical pleasure in a moment that does not last a lifetime, that is not a guarantee and that is not eternal, whatsoever. It is fantastic in a moment to us, so we think, it is satisfactory in our minds AND YET in our hearts and souls, we know and we feel, we are STILL NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING SATISFIED.

We as people turn to abomination. This one, I’m not sure I can describe it even fully because I am still confused and confused even more as to why people love this. We as people love destruction. People, most, not all, love watching destruction. We love watching the lies, the porn, the sex, the temptation, the drugs, whether that is in real life or on a movie screen. We are drawn “to the story” that each one of these things provides. We enjoy the suspense and drama and destruction and build up of these things. Why? WE LOOK to these things “as a fix” to feel external, physical pleasure in a moment that does not last a lifetime, that is not a guarantee and that is not eternal, whatsoever. It is fantastic in a moment for us, so we think, it is satisfactory in our minds and yet in our heart and soul, we know an we feel, we are still not even close to being satisfied.

We look to these things and more “as a fix” to feel external, physical pleasure in a moment that does not last a lifetime, that is not a guarantee and that is not eternal, whatsoever. It is fantastic in a moment for us, so we think, it is satisfactory in our minds and yet in our heart and soul, we know and we feel, WE KNOW AND WE FEEL, we are still not even close to being satisfied, to even feeling satisfied.

Why? Why do we do this, when after a second, after a moment, in the moment, we know that we are not even close to being satisfied?

Genesis 3 The Fall of Man

“we were made for more” we hear, see, write this all of the time, when really, we are created FOR THE MOST. THE MOST LIFE, THE MOST HIGH: THE MOST HIMSELF GOD! THE ONE TRUE AND ONLY ETERNAL GOD THE ETERNALLY THE ETERNALLY. Why do we try to compromise? Nothing can change our purpose, so nothing else can fulfill this  eternal purpose the eternally.

we are more than flesh and bone. We are more than external and physical.

Genesis 2:7-8 “7 Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being. 8 The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.”

See, GOD tells us how HE created us. We are from HIM and for HIM, eternally, from and for HIM THE ETERNALLY THE ETERNALLY. He breathed HIMSELF into us, therefore we are from and for ONLY HIM THE ETERNALLY!! So then, since we know this, since we are shown and told this by HIM, THE GOD THE ETERNALLY THE ETERNALLY, we know that our one true, unworldly and unearthly desire, is the one that cannot be filled by worldly and or earthly things. Psalm 73:25-28 “25 Whom have I in heaven but You?

And besides You, I desire nothing on earth.

26 My flesh and my heart may fail,

But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

27 For, behold, those who are far from You will perish;

You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to You.

28 But as for me, the nearness of God is my good;

I have made the LORD God my refuge,

That I may tell of all Your works.”

We have this void inside of us. We have this void inside of who we are. We are not flesh and bones. When we die, the flesh will pass away, but our souls won’t. We have a void inside of our souls that not even the pleasure or “satisfaction” of someone else or “an earthly ‘fix'” can even touch. We all desire God, but a lot of the time, we don’t know this because we are human, we are blinded by so many things that are meant by the devil, satan, evil, to distract us from WHO WE NEED.

We think we need to satisfy our desire that we imagine is only a feeling, by looking towards others or things that we know will bring some sort of “pleasure-feeling” to ourselves. We know that we will feel something, and we know that for a moment, we will imagine we are satisfied. And we continue doing this. It is like we are trying to fill up a bucket to the very top when the hole at the bottom, at the base, at the being of it is not yet patched up, everything we try to fill the bucket with falls through without completion.

And maybe you aren’t looking for satisfaction in lies, sex, drugs, etc. Maybe you’re looking for it (which we do a lot of the time) in “identity”. Maybe you’re putting your identity or “satisfaction” in the amount of likes you get on your picture. Or trying to get attention from someone else, who you weren’t created for. Or maybe it’s in sports- looking for satisfaction in how your favorite team is doing in their season. None of these things last. No matter what angle you take to your photo for instagram, no matter how you try to dress, no matter what the score of the game was, the world will always have something that you begin to compare yourself to.

“Well they had more likes, probably because they have a better camera”

“Well he’s probably dating her because she’s prettier than me”

“Well they have better players so we’re gonna do awful this year”

better, better, better, why are we always looking at “the better”, when it’s not even better and THE BEST IS holding out His hand towards us, RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. ?!

We’re naïve, most of the time. We ignore the truth simply because the devil, satan the evil one hates that THE GOD THE LIFE AND THE TRUTH AND THE WAY HIMSELF (John 14:6 Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.) IS REACHING OUT, IS RIGHT HERE THE ETERNALLY FOR US TO SAVE US, HAS SAVED US AND WILL CONTINUE TO SAVE US THE ETERNALLY. In fact, the devil hates that I’m writing this, truth, write now. Jokes on satan, he can’t touch me, he can’t come close to those who are IN THE ONE AND ONLY LIFE AND LIVING SAVIOR GOD CHRIST JESUS THE ETERNALLY THE ETERNALLY!! 🙂 🙂

So I look at my own life, and I see how joyful I am. I am a follower and believer of God, I am a new creation in Christ and i am living for HIM, THE GOD! And i look at others around me who i know are believers and followers of THE GOD CHRIST JESUS THE ETERNALLY as well, how joyful they are because they are in HIM and living FOR HIM and are a new creation IN HIM. And God shows me, as HE shows all of us, this is all because of and for HIM. i, we, all of this, for HIM AND HIS GLORY THE ETERNALLY.

HE IS why we can only find satisfaction in HIM. If you are struggling, if you’ve tried everything, if you didn’t even know you were struggling or didn’t even realize how lost you are, I tell you from personal experience of and by HIM and the ETERNAL grace of HIM, GOD, run to HIM. Seek HIM and you will find. Seek HIM and you will know THE TRUE AND ONLY SATISFACTION. THE TRUE AND ONE AND ONLY WHOLENESS, COMFORT, COMPLETION AND JOY. But HE, but GOD never stops there, oh no no no. When we are filled with Christ, with THE HOLY SPIRIT THE ETERNALLY, We overflow.

See, GOD isn’t like these temporal, earthly, worldly “bandages” we try to place on our wounds. that can only be filled by GOD. The “bandages will wear off, out and be gone in a moment, they will not satisfy. GOD. but GOD THE GOD. HE does not simply place a bandage over these wounds to cover them up, HE covers them up, covers us up with HIS LOVE, HIS GRACE, HIS MERCY AND HEALING, ALL OF WHICH ARE THE ETERNALLY, and OH GET EXCITED YOU BEAUTIFUL SOULS, HE TAKES THEM AWAY. He does what no person, no drug, no idol and not addiction can ever do, and covers you with HIS LOVE, covers up our wounds and TAKES THEM AWAY, WASHES EVEN THE BLOOD, THE STAIN AWAY, COMLETELY. Psalm 34:8-10 “8 O taste and see that the LORD is good;

How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

9 O fear the LORD, you His saints;

For to those who dear Him there is no want.

10 The young lions do lack and suffer hunger;

But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing.” BEHOLD, YOU ARE WHOLE IN HIM AND ONLY HIM THE ETERNALLY. You will find that with HIM, HIS GRACE AND MERCY AND LOVE AND LOVINGKINDNESS NEVER FAILS. HE NEVER FAILS AND NEVER ENDS THE ETERNALLY. HE shows us that with HIM, HE IS the Overflower the eternally. See, because, when this “bucket”, WE are being filled by HIM, it is of all things good. And God, ohmygoodnessgracious and GOD, but THE GOD THE ETERNALLY, HE does not ever stop when we are filled to the brim, oh no no no. HE IS ALL THE MORE THE ETERNALLY. He will fill us up all the more, so that we are constantly being filled, and in turn, OVERFLOWING.

Overflowing. What is inside of us will come out (Proverbs 4:23 “Watch over your hart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.”, Matthew 12:34 “34 You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.”, Proverbs 10:11-14 “11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,
But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
12 Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all transgressions.
13 On the lips of the discerning, wisdom is found,
But a rod is for the back of him who lacks understanding.
14 Wise men store up knowledge,
But with the mouth of the foolish, ruin is at hand.”
) We overflow and spill out whatever we are attempting to fill ourselves with, but on the only bright side, we overflow and spill out the eternal life, God Himself, Whom has ETERNALLY filled us and overflows out of us.

When we are being filled with worldly things around us, what will flow out?

When we are being filled by lies, lies will come out

When we are being filled by disgust, disgust will come out

When we are being filled by dishonor, dishonor will come out

When we are being filled by hate, hatred will come out

When we are being filled by death, death will come out

When we are being filled by temptation, temptation will come out

When we are being filled by evil, evil will come out

When we are being filled by temporal and false, temporal and false will come out in and with everything we do and say and think and feel

God is all of the lifegiving things that spill out of us when we have Him living inside of us(Psalm 25:8 “Good and upright is the Lord;
Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.” ), and when you go to Him, get saved by HIM and know HIM and know this truth THE TRUTH WHICH IS HIM THE ETERNALLY, there will be no more “temporal”, no more momentary “satisfaction or fixes” there will only be GOD THE GOD and COMPLETENESS: TRUE, PURE ETERNAL COMPLETENESS, FULLNESS, SATISFACTION IN HIM IN CHRIST, COMPLETELY AND ETERNALLY UNSHAKEABLE BY HIM AND FOR HIM. You will not only feel but KNOW in every moment the fullness, the joy and satisfaction and completeness and happiness that never goes away, ever, because GOD IS LIVING INSIDE OF YOU AND ME AND US AS OUR SALVATION THE ETERNALLY HE HAS PROMISED THE ETERNALLY!

HE IS life.

HE IS love.

HE IS grace.

HE IS mercy.

HE IS kindness.

HE IS the fruit of righteousness.

HE IS goodness.

The other day was thanksgiving, so I know a lot of our tummies were filled with turkey and all sorts of goodies. Almost every day most every one is checking social media, so our thoughts and minds are being filled with loaddddsss of things. But what are you FULL OF? Are you full at all? Are you satisfied, complete, whole? Go to God, talk to Him, pray, He is here, i promise. And He promises that HE IS THE TRUTH and faithful and HIS ETERNAL PROMISE is THE TRUTH AND FAITHFUL, and HE WILL provide for you the eternal and complete fullness, wholeness and satisfaction, joy, hope, completion, happiness, that you, that i, that we truly eternally desire, HIM!

Psalm 23New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Lord, the Psalmist’s Shepherd.

A Psalm of David.

23 The Lord is my shepherd,
I [a]shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside [b]quiet waters.
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the [c]paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the [d]valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no [e]evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You [f]have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
[g]Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will [h]dwell in the house of the Lord [i]forever.

Psalm 34New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Lord, a Provider and Deliverer.

A Psalm of David when he feigned madness before Abimelech, who drove him away and he departed.

34 I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul will make its boast in the Lord;
The humble will hear it and rejoice.
O magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.

I sought the Lord, and He answered me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces will never be ashamed.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him
And saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him,
And rescues them.

O taste and see that the Lord is good;
How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
O fear the Lord, you His saints;
For to those who fear Him there is no want.
10 The young lions do lack and suffer hunger;
But they who seek the Lord shall not be in want of any good thing.
11 Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Who is the man who desires life
And loves length of days that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil
And your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
And His ears are open to their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against evildoers,
To cut off the memory of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord hears
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
And saves those who are crushed in spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
20 He keeps all his bones,
Not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

Psalm 121

A Song of Ascents

1 I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;

From where shall my help come?

2 My help comes from the LORD,

Who made heaven and earth.

3 He will not allow your foot to slip;

He who keeps you will not slumber.

4 Behold, He who keeps Israel

Will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD is your keeper;

The LORD is your shade on your right hand.

6 The sun will not smite you by day,

Nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will protect you from all evil;

He will keep your soul.

8 The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in

From this time forth and forever.

Psalm 25:8-11

“8 Good and upright is the LORD;

Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.

9 He leads the humble in justice,

And He teaches the humble His way.

10 All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth

To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

11 For Your name’s sake, O LORD,

Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.”
