Today, I want to discuss some thoughts that I had earlier, some Scripture that I read earlier, and some more thoughts.
Earlier, I was thinking about how we need to give God all of it. All of us, all of these lives, everything. For we are from Him and for Him and His glory, and not for ourselves.
I read me Scripture after that, and it struck more thoughts. I read some of what I have been reading recently, Matthew 22:37-40, and I read some in Psalms, including Psalm 23, and some of Psalm 66, along with some other Psalms.
A Psalm of David.
” 1. The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
2. He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
3. He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of

My cup overflows.

LORD forever. “

Because of the greatness of Your power

The God of Israel Himself gives strength
and power to the people.
Blessed be God! “
These verses from God’s Word, from Scripture, from Truth, are just some of the verses that we can find that talk about GOD’S goodness. About HIS goodness.
We know that HE IS LORD. We know we have these beautiful relationships with HIM and from HIM and this wonderful salvation with HIM and from HIM and through HIM.
We know that HE deserves all of the praise and honor and glory, and we know that HE has done wonderful things and that HE is continuing to do wonderful things. We know that HE IS AMAZING AND AWESOME AND MORE THAN PERFECT.
We know these things, that HE is more than perfect, that HE is goodness, all things goodness, that HE is amazing, that HE is wonderful, that He is awesome, that HE is TRUTH, that HE is LOVE that HE is SALVATION.
When we know these things, we also know that HE deserves all of the praise, that HE deserves all of the honor, and that HE deserves all of the glory.
And, since we know these things, we also need to know that we have to give it all to HIM. All of us, all of it, completely.
Something that I said the other day stood out to me….
I said, we didn’t create ourselves, so we can’t save ourselves.
And since we know that HE IS THE SAVIOR, AND THAT HE IS SALVATION,
We have to give it all to HIM.
all of us,
all of it,
We can’t hold anything for ourselves. We didn’t create ourselves. We belong to GOD, and not ourselves.
We didn’t bless ourselves. Blessings are from GOD, and for GOD, and not ourselves.
We can’t perform miracles. He can.
We can’t breathe by ourselves, for HE has given us LIFE. HE IS LIFE.
We cant take steps by ourselves, for every breath that we take and every movement that we make is given to us from HIM and for HIM and HIS glory.
You can’t just give some of it to God. We have to give all of it.
We can’t just give ourselves to God for Sunday mornings or for Wednesday nights and act like we have given it all to God.
no, no, no.
give it all.
give HIM every moment.
I promise that HE is here. Proclaim HIS goodness every moment. Shout joyfully and give thanks.
Show LOVE and show THE GOODNESS of WHO is inside of you, of WHO is with you. Shine bright THE LIGHT from WHOM you have been given.
HE deserves all of the praise and more, for HE is more than perfection, more than goodness.
HE IS LOVE.
HE loves everyone, every moment, whether that be in a time when you feel loved and you feel HIS presence, even in times when we might not feel that way: when we feel sad r discouraged or unloved, HE IS LOVE, AND HE STILL LOVES US.
We are so loved by LOVE HIMSELF.
” 5. Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own
6. In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
7. Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.
8. It will be healing to your body
And refreshment to your bones. “
” 34. But when Pharisees heard that Jesus
had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered
themselves together. 35. One of them, a
lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him,
36. “Teacher, which is the great commandment
in the Law?” 37. And He said to him, ” ‘YOU
SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR
HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL
YOUR MIND.’ 38. This is the great and foremost commandment. 39. The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ 40. On these two commandments depend the whole
Law and the Prophets.”
41. Now while the Pharisees were gather
together, Jesus asked them a question:
42. “What do you think about the Christ,
whose son is He?” They said to Him, “The son of David.” 43. He said to them, “Then
how does David in the Spirit call Him ‘LORD,’
44. ‘THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD,
“SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND,
UNTIL I PUT YOUR ENEMIES BENEATH YOUR
45. If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He
his son?” 46. No one was able to answer Him a
word, nor did anyone dare from that day on to
ask Him another question. “
